Simon started playing guitar, as he puts it, 'quite late,' at the age of fourteen but once he started, he never looked back. He was in his first band within a year of playing and by the time he was 16, was playing gigs up and down the UK. Since then, he has toured with some of the biggest voices in rock music, Joe Lynn Turner (Deep Purple/Rainbow) and Eric Martin (Mr Big/Avantasia), guitar virtuoso Vinnie Moore and headed out with British Rock Titans UFO on their 22-date farewell tour of the UK. He has also spent time living in Nashville on various songwriting trips.

 

When Simon isn't gigging, recording or writing, he spends his time teaching. He truly believes that anyone who puts in the time and effort to practice can succeed. "Talent is a myth. It's all about how many hours you devote to any given task."
