Kaviani is a London-based hard rock/pop singer-songwriter and guitarist with a northern edge… Sheffield born n' bred with Iranian heritage.
Kaviani's latest single 'Switch It Up' was voted 'Track of the Week' on Classic Rock Magazine's website and also had its first worldwide airing on Planet Rock Radio by Def Leppard's Joe Elliott.
He recently completed an eight-date tour with Scottish rock legends GUN in June. With recent live sessions on Gaby Roslin's BBC Radio London show and Salma El-Wardany's BBC London breakfast show, Kaviani kicked off 2025 with the release of his debut EP 'Switch It Up.'
Kaviani has toured with some of the greatest voices in rock — Joe Lynn Turner (Deep Purple/Rainbow), Eric Martin (Mr Big), Damon Johnson & Ricky Warwick (Thin Lizzy/Alice Cooper/Black Star Riders). He was also asked to play guitar on Tara Lynch's support tour for UFO on their 22-date sold-out farewell tour of the UK & Ireland in 2019, and for guitar virtuoso Vinnie Moore on a 26-date European tour in 2022.
Earlier this year, Kaviani was asked to join former two-time World Superbike champion James Toseland's band on bass, for his comeback tour and album… a project Kaviani is extremely excited about!
I believe:
- Confidence beats talent.
- Playing with others matters.
- Music should feel authentic, not academic.
